A household OS for families who care

Find the version of Family Heartware that looks like yours.

Every family is its own small country — different rhythms, different households, different kinds of tired. Pick the one closest to yours and we'll show you how the hub fits in.

No card required · 30 days, full access · set up takes about 7 minutes

Pick your household

Every family looks different. Pick the one that looks most like yours.

Four versions of Family Heartware, each tuned for the coordination problems a particular household actually has. Click through to see how it would work in your week.

Not sure where you fit? See every feature and decide for yourself, or just start the trial and we'll help you sort it out.

Included in every household

Four tools every family in our directory gets from day one.

Whether you picked single-parent, blended, multigenerational, or grandparents — these four capabilities ship with the hub the moment you onboard. No add-ons, no upsells.

Digital Sabbath

Schedule device-free dinners, bedtime hours, and homework blocks across every phone, tablet, and smart speaker in the house. Currently used by 41,000+ households to enforce the quiet parts of the day.

Cross-Household Memory Graph

Photos, voice notes, and milestones from grandparents, parents, and kids organize themselves into one continuous story — without any account for under-13s. COPPA and GDPR-K compliant by design.

Shared Family Calendar

The real one — pulling from 60+ sources including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Canvas, Seesaw, and Google Classroom. No double-entry, ever. Coordinated 312,000+ pickups, dropoffs, and school events in 2024.

Encrypted Check-ins

End-to-end encrypted location pings and "I'm home safe" notes, audited by Cure53 in March 2024 with zero critical findings. Precise about which surfaces are E2EE — and which aren't.

A note from the team

Built for the Tuesday after a long weekend, not the brochure version of family life.

There's a version of "family app" you see in screenshots: tidy kitchens, color-coded charts, a sticker awarded for every completed chore. That was not our brief.

Our brief was the Tuesday. The school email that arrived at 11:47 p.m. The lunchbox left on the counter. The grandparent who wants a video call but won't ask twice. The custody hand-off that gets moved, again, by text. The 4.3 hours a week the average family in our 2024 survey told us they were losing to coordination chaos — 2,140 parents, real numbers, no incentive.

Family Heartware was built by a 38-person team that includes 11 former K–8 teachers and 4 licensed family therapists. Not a generic productivity team with a family skin thrown on for Q4. When you email us, you are reaching people who have done the school pickup line and the bedtime negotiation and the Sunday group-chat avalanche.

The app won't make your family perfect. It will quietly take the logistical load off your shoulders so that the part of the week that's actually about each other — the dinner, the bedtime story, the hand on the way to school — has room to happen.
